A very good friend of mine owns our local Kolor-N-Kiln Pottery Studio. We have the kind of friendship that leaves off and picks right back up as if we haven\u2019t missed a day in between. She\u2019s a kindred spirit, and I\u2019m so thankful to have our lives cross paths.<\/p>\n
Many moons back I taught a class in her studio on a technique that I love to utilize for texturizing bisque, the \u201cbubble technique\u201d. I am a sucker for layers of color and the finish it provides, and I enjoyed passing along this knowledge to her studio participants. One of the many ways that I\u2019ve been supported in a sisterly way through this friendship is by the fundraising opportunities that have been offered via her pottery studio. I deeply appreciate the support of the staff at Kolor-N-Kiln.
