The boycotting of goods became a popular way to strike back against Britain for the taxing of goods sent to the colonies. Learn about how Leading Lady Penelope Barker and the fifty-one women known as the Edenton Ladies Patriotic Guild strategized their purchases to leverage their own battle against the Crown in response to the 1773 Tea Act.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
